Recipients of FFF funds are mostly rural women (currenttly 100% women) who are either in business or are making plans to start a business. All of these women are organised into Credit Groups to ensure prompt repayment of loans. We do not give loans to individual women and this accounts for the high success rate of the program whih currently stands at 98%.

The loan process begins with a 3-day seminar on starting and/or managing small businesses during which we equip the women witht the basic business skills they need such as basic management and accouting. We do this bwecause we beive very strongly that business success does not only depend on thte available funds but also on business skills and knowledge. This has also been responsible for our high success rate.
